Garden Estate Kellerberggasse - Vienna
The master plan for the area of the garden estate is divided in to four sites by generous green corridors. The system of pedestrian paths is consistently separated from road traffic, and connects the development with the city and the adjoining green belt of woods and meadows without the two intersecting.
The apartments are tightly interwoven with their respective green space on one side, and clearly separated from the semi-public and public circulation spaces on the other.
The row houses and freestanding units are constructed of prefabricated, light-weight timber elements. The houses offer high user flexibility and can be adapted to the individual requirements of the inhabitants.
